Stoneworld supply paving for the extensive hard landscaping areas of Bicester Shopping Village
Bicester Village first opened in April 1995 and is a flagship project, attracting more than three million customers each year. With seven villages now open, the Value Retail brand now covers eight key markets in six European countries and can boast 265 leading fashion brands across 414 shops. Phase 3 of the hugely popular outlet village, part of the Value Retail Villages network, was completed in October 2008, signalled by the high profile launch of stylish restaurant Villandry.
Stoneworld supplied Bicester Village with:*7400 m² Raj Hand-cut Natural Sandstone Paving*650 m² Raj Sawn and Sandblasted Natural Sandstone Paving*13,5000 = 1500 m² Kandla Grey Hand-cut Natural Sandstone Setts
More recently, we have supplied our Natural Sandstone again to Value Retail. They have embarked on an ambitious refurbishment of their European shopping villages, and to date Stoneworld has exclusively supplied paving for La Vallee Village adjacent to Disneyland Paris, and is currently supplying paving for their next project at Maasmechelen Village in Belgium
In 2017 we have been back at Bicester Village assisting in a project to protect the pedestrian areas from vehicular intrusion. Stoneworld have placed huge boulders at strategic points, which are both attractive in the overall landscaping scheme, but also act as a deterrant to vehicles.
