Empty your swimming pool
Please ensure that your swimming pool is empty.
In order to get a perfect template, it is necessary that we stand inside the pool with the templating technology and record the true measurements of the internal pool walls. If the pool is not empty then we will have to measure from outside the pool. In doing so, we have to template multiple times in order for it to reach all sides of the pool. This means we have to take various templates from different datum points and overlay these templates. This runs the risk of inaccuracies and is not recommended.
If you have a smaller pool
If pools are small and less than 7 metres from end-to-end and all edges of the pool can be reached, then the template can be done from the outside of the pool as long as the copings are removed. In the case that there are bricks or other surrounding materials, ensure that upon removal the internal pool walls are not damaged.
Roman ends
If we just need to template a Roman end and radius corners, this can be done from outside the pool as long as the old copings are removed, because we will need to template the internal pool walls and not the edge of the coping stones. Our aim is to provide a perfect coping and to do this we have to request the above procedures.
