Luxurious Moleanos Limestone
In this project, our Moleanos limestone was supplied to our friends at Cheshire Pool Services to transform this impressive property through meticulous craftsmanship, innovative solutions, and a deep understanding of natural stone.
One of the standout features of the project is the inclusion of not one but two pools, each designed to offer a unique experience. The larger pool is designed for swimming and provides a refreshing escape on hot days, whereas the smaller pool offers an intimate setting for relaxation, doubling as a hot tub during the colder months.
Paving
The client’s desire for a light-coloured, low-maintenance natural stone led them to choose the Moleanos Sablino Paving. This natural stone is particularly popular for its creamy complexion and subtle natural almond fossilization, which adds depth and character. Unlike porcelain tiles, which can be overly reflective, Moleanos Sablino Paving absorbs natural sunlight, reducing reflectiveness while retaining a comfortable temperature. Its non-slip surface ensures safety around the pool area, providing peace of mind.
Copings
The bullnosed copings around the pool’s edges serve both visual and functional purposes. Their smooth, rounded edges create a contrast with the angular lines of the pools, offering a comfortable and appealing tactile experience. Additionally, the Moleanos Sawn & Sandblasted Pool Copings ensure a seamless integration of design elements across the entire pool area.
Masonry
One of the lesser-known but equally important aspects of the project was the creation of specially designed rebated copings for the cover pit end of the pool. The Moleanos Limestone copings were tailored to the pool company’s specifications, ensuring easy installation and use with the type of pool cover chosen by the client.
