Project Overview

Set alongside a traditional country home and surrounded by mature trees and established planting, this natural swimming pool by Natural Swimming Pools Ltd has been designed to feel like an extension of the landscape rather than a separate feature.

Stoneworld supplied Milton Sandstone Pool Copings to form the edge of the long rectangular pool, complemented by Milton Sandstone Sawn Paving to complete the surrounding pool area. The stone’s soft, muted buff tones sit naturally alongside the existing brickwork, cobbled paths, timber decking and surrounding planting, helping the new pool feel established within its setting rather than separate from it. The understated character of the sandstone helps create a seamless transition between pool and landscape, contributing to the feeling of a secluded “secret oasis” within the garden.

Natural swimming pools are particularly suited to this kind of setting, creating a softer and more organic alternative to the appearance of a conventional swimming pool. Using natural stone around the water reinforces that connection while providing a robust, structurally sound and long-lasting finish to the pool edge.
