Stoneworld were proud to be involved in this rectory renovation near Thame, Oxfordshire, which required both ornamental and structural stonework to support the extension and restoration of the property. The aim was to enhance the building while respecting its original architectural character and rural setting.

Natural Stone & Bespoke Masonry

For this project, Stoneworld supplied Purbeck Cropped Building Stone for the rebuild, providing a natural, authentic finish that sits comfortably within the existing surroundings. Alongside this, a range of bespoke architectural stonework pieces were crafted in our masonry workshop using Harthern Park limestone.

Our skilled team produced custom quoins, windowsills, and a feature stone inset into the rebuilt Purbeck wall. Each element was digitally templated and hand-finished to ensure accuracy, uniformity, and a seamless connection to the original stonework.
