Our client wanted to renovate their family farm and transform it into a more contemporary style, bringing an essence of the Mediterranean to the English countryside. We talked through each phase of the project with the client, making sure their dream result was achieved. For this project, our White Mint honed sandstone was perfect for creating the contemporary feel that the client wanted.
Our team worked very closely with the client, in order to meticulously produce bespoke copings and features to the stone design. We drew out every element of the project to ensure that the client was satisfied and we provided expert advice to help them decide which products were best suited to the results they wanted to achieve.
One of the most prominent features of this project is the Roman End of the swimming pool, giving a beautiful, modern and sophisticated feel to the pool. This bespoke Roman End was digitally templated and produced to measure specifically for this client, in our on-site masonry workshop, using White Mint honed sandstone.
Around the pool, Stoneworld produced bespoke pool copings in White Mint, with pencil-rolled edges.
The client had previously looked at getting skimmer lids online, however these would not have matched the beautiful White Mint honed stone being used across the project. This is where Stoneworld’s masonry expertise came in again! We created bespoke skimmer lids from the same slab of White Mint, so that each skimmer lid was disguised within the paving (see if you can spot them!), but still easily accessible.
We can make skimmer lids in any required design.
Finally, we provided paving around the pool, with bullnosed edging where the paving steps down to the grass. This is to create a smoother, rounded edge to the paving, rather than a sharp edge, when stepping up and on to the paving.
Stoneworld considered this project from all angles and all views, to ensure that each and every aspect was finished to a very high standard, whilst also being safe, and looking incredible.
Thank you to the client for allowing us to use the pictures of their project.
