Project Overview

Open Country House is a striking private indoor pool complex delivered by Brickell Pools, set beneath a soaring vaulted ceiling flooded with natural light from a generous run of roof lanterns. The cool grey porcelain surround and precisely fabricated pool copings show what can be achieved when the right material is combined with careful specification and accurate fabrication.

Porcelain is one of the most versatile and durable surfaces available for pool environments, and the range carried by Stoneworld reflects that flexibility. From warm creamy tones to cool contemporary greys, and from natural stone-effect textures to clean, smooth finishes, there is a porcelain option to suit almost any pool design or architectural brief. Stoneworld fabricates pool copings and Roman ends from any porcelain in our range, shaped and profiled to suit the design requirements of each project. The semi-circular Roman end at Open Country House is one of the most technically demanding coping formats to produce. Each piece must be cut cleanly, accurately and consistently to follow the curve, while maintaining a refined finish across the full pool edge.

Working with 20mm porcelain for full coping pieces, or 10mm porcelain for slimmer profiles where a lighter finish is required, our workshop can produce straight runs, curved ends, bullnose edges, pencil rounds and cantilevered overhangs. Every detail is tailored to the pool design and the porcelain selected.
